Casa Madrid Apartments
< | >
Before I moved into Casa Madrid I read these reviews, and as a previous poster said, dismissed them as an angry tenants out for revenge. Yet, everything that the other posters have mentioned happened to me. My car was towed a week after I moved in (even though it was registered) and I had to fight with the managmenet office at both Casa Madrid and at the Arnel Corporate office to get my money returned. The next week my car was borken into, although I believe this could happen anywhere. The actual apartments are "okay" but because of their age, you can hear EVERYTHING the people above you are doing. I had a roach problem. The roof leaked and the maintance never came to repaint the ceiling despite repeated calls. The management is totally incompetent and it takes numerous calls to them to get any problem addressed. Neither the Casa Madrid management office or the Arnel corporate office return phone calls. I have lived in numerous apartments, and this is by far the worst one I have ever lived in. I don't think it was safe, it was overpriced for the quality and location and the management was terrible. Oh, and there is never any parking either in the complex or on the street. Lastly, I had a studio and it didn't have a heater. I thought this was odd.
