DON'T LIVE HERE

I rented a studio apartment and it was horrible. It got so hot in there that I had to leave the door open just to let air in (even after I put a fan in front of the balcony to blow cool air in). Everything is pretty run-down. They show you a beautiful model of a studio, but then when you actually see the one you're getting (after having signed papers and the previous tenant moving out) it's a completely different story. There are also a lot of stray cats running around that scratch at your screen doors, and I was even on the 2nd floor. There are also a lot of guys just hanging around in the parking lot and on the grounds of the complex, so if you're a girl be prepared to be stared at and whistled at. Parking is horrible. You get an assigned spot, but the rental office always assures you that there's tons of open parking available too - not true, because a lot of the apartments have way too many people stuffed into them so they use the extra spaces. The rental office people seem nice now and say that they'll help you with anything, but later when you need something don't expect the same courtesy. The management company (Arnel Residential) and the woman who oversees this complex (Sarah Danes) are horrible to deal with so don't expect anything from them either. I can't say enough bad things about this place. The complex looked nice and the rental office was really nice when I went to visit and sign the lease, but it was a completely different story afterwards. There's always empty wrappers and cans in the grass and in the bushes because the kids throw them there and maintenance dosen't pick them up. DO NOT BE FOOLED!!!
