I have been living in this apartment for the last 6 months, my opinion is Anaheim has got lot of better apartments; try elsewhere.
1) Once you sign the lease, you are not the priority even if you have emergency at your apartment unit.
2) Laundry facility they charge different prices during different time of the day, quoting that they are peak hours, I haven't seen it's crowded anytime! and they dont even post a message about this at their Laundry facility.
3) No centralized Air-Condition and the Air-Conditioner Unit they have in the living Room will be very old one, eat lot of Power and you'll have to buy additional A/Cs for your Bedrooms.
4) Property is not clean, swimming pools are not get cleaned properly, SPIDER's in the apartments.
5) Parking is another hell overhere, They tow the tenent's Cars for any reason, but you'll hear someone's Car get stolen every other week; not really friendly and secured for the residents.
6) They say guest parking available, but the car can get towed anytime, towing vehicles will always keep an eye, heard that about 15 cars get towed every week; someone is making money.
7) They say Utilities Covered, but you get to pay a minimum of $45 a month for that to Pacitic Water and Power; and that too you'll have to make the payment within a week, otherwise fine will be applied;

Sure that I have more to add before my least gets expired!! Stuck with the LEASE...

When I call the property they were up front that the tenants are responsible for all utilities. As well as they are strict with their towing and at no time can someone without a permit park behind the gates. According to the Anaheim Police Dept - there are NOT that many break in's at this property. Sounds to me as if this person is a problem tenant that doesn't like to follow rules.....

Show us the evidence of the Anaheim Police department that there are not that many break-ins. I bet you sucked that right out of your thumb. I have had my car broken into twice in the time I have been here and both times it occurred before the gates were built. Those gates were highly overdue. Unfortunately they were not built to secure us against burglars since management doesn't give a hoot and a holler about tenants but to prevent hoodlums that are fleeing from the police from holing up here. The number and frequency of circling police helicopters with their annoying search beams has decreased dramatically since this apartment and others were forced to enclose their properties.

As far as towing goes, Arnel is way too strict with its towing as tenant's cars disappear simply without management first attempting to make a phone call expressing a concern to the tenant or leaving a warning on their door. There is absolutely no need for the predatory towing that has been unleashed upon us. Damn straight this is a racket between Mr C's Towing and Arnel, the "management" company. Mr C's has free reign and they come whenever they please, not because they have to but because they know there is booty in a large apartment complex at any time. That this really is a racket is clear from the fact that this towing company is located three cities away from our complex (Los Alamitos) which makes no sense other than that it is for the protection of that towing company from irate tenants or the city council that has jurisdiction over the complex. Mr C's is a disgusting predatory towing company, they do not come when there is a need for a tow, they come and tow away any car they deem in violation of the impossibly strict parking rules. Sometimes one of its drivers chats up the girls in the office who themselves have no qualms about calling him on his cell phone the moment a tenant parks in the office parking space, even of it is for just a minute. And don't say that this is not true, I was there when one of them did it and I heard the conversation. There is definitely a kickback system at work here. And it needs to be stamped out.
