Living here has been a horrible experience. I know this is a long review but please read it all. You will be amazed of what you can save yourself. I have lived here for 1 year and 3 months. You would not beleive some of the things that have happened to us. 1) Management is very nice to your face but as soon as you turn around there smile turns to frown or they roll there eyes. When I had complaints they act like they are to busy looking at there nails to care about tenant service. 2) Renting a studio at Casa madrid is a waste of money. Yah they show you this wonderful model. Then when you move in it is totally different. It is about 90 degrees inside all year long. There is no venalation or air. There is only one window in the whole apartment. Then they have this peace of crap air conditioning unit that smells like cat pea. Also since it was so hot we were continuously infested with bugs..... 3) 6 months into my lease I cam home one day and my living room and bathroom was like a small pond. The pipes underneath my apartment had busted causing water to rise from the ground. It was about 7pm when I discovered this and they came right away to fix the problem but they jack hammered my floor for 6 hours and cut into the floor. They continued to do this all night(considering I had to go to work the next morning) I got no sleep. They did not even offer to give us a place to stay, nor did not hear from the Management office even apoligizing for the what had happened. They finally finished 2 days later. Their maintence guy told me that this had happend to 3 other apartments in that same week. 4)Arnel Management should take some training on customer service. Every 3 months the staff changes, they have such a high turn over rate. They do not seem to care about tenants. They only care about you signing a contract to live here and their commission check. Here they have a policy to have their tenants have renters insurance. They created this big thick legal contract, and they send it to me with my policy info and it has the wrong name on it. They had Maria instead of my real name. So I call the insurance place and they were really rude to me and said that my leasing office prepares my paperwork they have nothing to do with it. So I call my leasing office and they say oh you have to call the insurance place. Is that joke or what. I finally got a hold of the Business Manager here at the leasing office and she could have cared less, and rushed me off the phone. All she said the whole time was uh huh, uh huh, ok bye. That all she said. 5)One day I had an important interview to go to. I went to take a shower and the water was turned off. I called the leasing office to complain and they said oh someones pipes busted.

Why would this person stay longer than their initial one year lease? Casa Madrid only does one year leases. They must have been evicted or asked to leave because they were the problem

Idiotfinder sure is from the leasing office because This is the second message I found where (s)he blames the tenant and calls tenant a problem.

I went in recently to inquire about an apt... and one of the stupid girls in the officve straight came out and said that they have been on these websites and written good reviews to try and pump up their review #'s. ------- Idiot Finder can suck a ------- Casa Madrid Rat ---- !!
